We found this depiction of the Notre Dame leprechaun on the cover of the 1993 yearbook. While the leprechaun wasn’t officially adopted as the school’s mascot until 1965, he first appeared on the Fighting Irish sidelines a few years earlier in 1960 alongside our favorite Irish terrier, Clashmore Mike.
