For this throwback Oklahoma snapback, we honored the 1987-88 men's basketball team, who won the Big 8 regular season and tournament, and made their second-ever national title game. We also featured a vintage 1988 Final Four patch, which marked the 50th anniversary of the tournament. Though the Sooners ended the season as national runners-up, they're still a beloved part of Oklahoma basketball history.
