1977 OSU football programs featured Pistol Patty, a female counterpart to Pistol Pete to talk about and promote women’s sports. There was even a live student mascot of Patty that year, helping Pistol Pete to lead cheers on the sidelines in Stillwater. We’re proud to bring back this short-lived version, drawn by legendary Oklahoma artist Dick Gilpin. Brought to you in partnership with Oklahoma State’s Old Central Collection.
