Starting in late October 1967, the then 3-2 Oregon State Beavers left West Lafayette with a surprise win over No. 2 Purdue. After beating Wazzu at home the following week, the Beavers went on to tie No. 2 UCLA at the Coliseum and defeat No. 1 USC outright. The aptly nicknamed “Giant Killers” became the only team to go undefeated against three top-two programs in one season since the start of the AP Poll. Brought to you in partnership with College Vault.
