With this retro cap, "We Are" honoring one of college sports' most iconic battle cries. Initially, the "We Are Penn State!" chant originated as a stand against racism in the 1948 Cotton Bowl. In the 1970s, Nittany Lions cheerleaders brought the call and response back: after one half of Beaver Stadium yells, "We Are," the other responds, "Penn State!"

Our dad hats have a 56 to 61 cm circumference, which is equivalent to a US 7 to 7 5/8. Note that embroidered hats may experience slight shrinkage as a result of the embroidery process.
