Through his quarter century coaching Purdue, coach Gene Keady made that simple demand of his players, inspiring generations of Boilers and fans who set foot in Mackey Arena. Keady ended his career at Purdue as the winningest coach in school history, along with 18 trips to the NCAA tournament (and, of course, numerous battles with rival coach Bob Knight).
