After St. John’s changed their mascot in 1993, they debuted their new identity, the Red Storm, alongside this red mustang mascot. A different version of the mustang also made an appearance on the Red Storm’s “skyline” shorts, where the accent color of the shorts mimicked a silhouette of the New York City skyline. (If you don’t remember what we mean, take a look at Felipe Lopez’s 1994 SI cover.) Products are mocked up on a size S. Graphics may appear smaller on larger sizes.
