Before Spike, the iconic costumed Bulldog who has represented the Gonzaga athletic teams for years, there was Teddy Gonzaga: a tiny Boston Bull Terrier. Teddy made his first appearance in 1921, the same year the university officially adopted the nickname “Bulldogs.” We’ve commemorated this obscure and adorable part of Gonzaga history on our soft ash tee with an original illustration.

Mystery Box win!

My favorite mystery box pick up. I love the blue and red popping against the gray. I didn’t know the story of Teddy, but I love getting it share it with people when I wear this. Great shirt.
