Five teams in the SEC finished the 1999-2000 season ranked in the AP Top 25, and four of those same teams finished with a 12-4 conference record -- in other words, it was a big basketball season for teams down south. Among those fierce competitors were the Tennessee Volunteers, who ended up winning the regular season and tournament championships. The Vols would then make a run to the second weekend of the tournament as a member of the Sweet Sixteen.
