In 1963, Tulane's athletics director and bookstore manager jointly decided it was time to make a change in mascots, away from their original surfing Pelican. When they made the change, they hired none other than Angelus Pacific's Arthur Evans, considered the G.O.A.T. in mascot design-circles. He did not disappoint, coming up with Tulane's "Green Wave", printed here holding a pennant, on an incredibly comfortable light blue heather tee.

Approximately 3"x3.2". Vinyl sticker.

The Wave's existence raises many questions.

Not about quality, the quality is some of the best I have ever had in a sticker. No no, I'm left wondering how a mass of water attained sentience and decided that with it's new found emotions, it would first pursue anger, then Tulane fandom. Who is to say?
