This design pays tribute to the legendary Jackie Robinson's time at UCLA. Though Robinson is known the world over for breaking the color barrier in professional baseball on April 15, 1947, it's often considered his "worst" sport among the four he played with the Bruins. Records of Robinson's jersey number at UCLA are unknown, so the team proudly honors his legendary No. 42 across the university, including at Jackie Robinson Stadium, where the Bruins play.
