We’re honoring the 1998 Minutemen, the Division I-AA National Champions often regarded as UMass football’s greatest team (so far). 1998 was thought to be a year of transition for the team under first-year head coach Mark Whipple and defensive coordinator Don Brown. Then, despite their A-10 division co-championship and 11-3 regular season, the Minutemen weren’t expected to advance through the DI-AA playoffs. UMass proved doubters wrong, making their way through the playoff gauntlet and taking down No. 1 Georgia Southern in the championship.

Our unisex tees run true to size. If you're looking for a roomier fit, we suggest sizing up!

When the Minutemen had seasons

I love this shirt because it’s comfortable and reminds me of the season just before Freshman year. Back when Saturdays meant W’s.
