In 1891, the University of Kentucky student body chose blue and light yellow as their school colors prior to a football game against Centre College. When a student asked what specific shade of blue they should wear in the stands, football player Richard C. Stoll pulled off his necktie and held it up for everyone to see. A year later, UK swapped out light yellow for white, and Wildcats have been wearing those colors ever since.

Great shirt

I always have a hard time finding tshirts because often times a large is too small a XL is too big with a really stretched out neck. I ordered and XL in this shirt and it fits perfectly… especially after it was washed and dried once. AND, the neck isn’t stretched out. I wish more tshirt manufacturers would understand that no one likes a stretched out “bacon” neck on a tshirt.
