This Cavalier face logo was used from 1984-1994; local designers Jim Gibson and Charles Peale brought this interpretation of Virginia's mascot to life. Virginia has long been associated with Cavaliers -- mounted swordsmen who represented bravery and civil society in the burgeoning English colony.
