In 2004, the new kids on the ACC's block reigned supreme in the conference. Led by Frank Beemer in his 18th season coaching, the Hokies made their presence in the conference known, winning the ACC in a competitive year. Virginia Tech finished the season with an AP Top Ten ranking, and the admiration of fans nationwide.
