“On, Wisconsin,” the fight song of the University of Wisconsin, was written back in 1909 by William T. Purdy and Carl Beck. Soon, a modified version was adopted by the state of Wisconsin as their official song due to the special historical significance of the title. “On, Wisconsin” was the epic Civil War battle cry of Lieutenant General Arthur MacArthur, Jr. as he led his regiment in the Battle of Chattanooga at Missionary Ridge. MacArthur was awarded the Medal of Honor, and his phrase now unites Badgers across the nation. “On, Wisconsin! On, Wisconsin! Fight on for her fame…”

Softest ever, fits like the t-shirts

Not a single lie was told about the softness of this sweatshirt. Actual weight of the fabric is on the lighter side, making it an excellent layering option. I ordered a medium (I’m usually a large or even XL in tops to accommodate the DDD/F-cup girls) hoping to get a more fitted look based on my experience with their t-shirts, which was perfect for what I wanted. Can’t wait for the weather to turn so I can wear this with a collared shirt to live out my preppiest fall fashion dreams.
