Starting in 1913 as a ROTC unit, the University Band transitioned to athletic entertainment in the 1950s. Western Thunder performs at all home games and occasionally travels to away games, providing Cowboys fans with pep and a great show. Known for donning cowboy hats and putting on a wonderful show, we had to celebrate this incredible band with a super comfy tee!
