The Friars took to the ice in the 2014-15 men’s hockey season in their fourth season under head coach Nate Leaman. Though they tied for second in the Hockey East conference’s regular season and lost in the quarterfinal of the conference tournament, the Friars finished 26-13-2 overall that year and defeated rival Boston University for the 2015 national championship.
