Hail to old Purdue, specifically to this old Purdue Pete used from 1950 to 1970. This logo’s usage closely coincides with Jack Mollenkopf’s tenure as the head coach of Boilermakers football from 1956 to 1969. This version of Pete was also around as Purdue earned its reputation as the “Cradle of Quarterbacks,” with iconic names like Len Dawson, Bob Griese and Mike Phipps leading the charge in West Lafayette.

Fades after wash

Love the sweatshirt-one of my favorites but it faded after 1 wash! Can barely see the design now. Not what I expect from a $65 sweatshirt.

Great sweatshirt! As we are a fourth generation Purdue family, I had been looking for a vintage Purdue Pete (the “Pete” I grew up with) shirt for quite some time. That this one had the school song on it as well was a bonus! There were also a lot of other vintage choices available. It is surprisingly soft and cozy inside without the usual bulky sweatshirt weight. I’m very happy with my purchase.

Dull after wash

I’ve washed this sweatshirt twice and the design has faded terribly. One more wash and I doubt you’ll be able to see much of anything

Super soft sweatshirt

Love this sweatshirt. Very nice looking, soft, and comfortable. It doesn't seem to have shrunk much following washing and drying. Got XL expecting some shrinkage, but it didn't really shrink much.
