Before they were the Mean Green, they were the North Texas Eagles. Before that was the school’s 1922 naming contest, where the mighty eagle won out as mascot over a lion, a hawk, and even a dragon. When the school procured a live eagle mascot in 1950, fans nicknamed him “Scrappy,” a nickname that endures to this day for the costumed spirit mascot.
Our unisex tees run true to size. If you're looking for a roomier fit, we suggest sizing up!
